Hi there! My name is Gabi, and I’m a proud mom to two amazing kids. I’ve had the joy of participating in beauty pageants in my home country, Peru. With my multicultural family, we’ve lived in different parts of the world, and now we are settled in Madison, Connecticut, where I’ve turned one of my greatest passions—baking—into something truly special.

Baking and beauty have always been my favorite ways to express creativity, love, and joy. I never imagined that the sweet treats I create in my kitchen would inspire others, but with the encouragement of friends and family, I decided to start munay.

'Munay' is more than just a name—it’s an action verb in Quechua, the language of The Incas. It means “to love, to give with respect and intention, to do something with heart.” This word perfectly reflects what I do in the kitchen: every cake, cookie, and dessert I create carries a piece of my heart, a touch of care, and the warmth of love I inherited from my mommy, who remains my greatest inspiration.

Through munay, I hope to share not just desserts, but a feeling—joy, love, and connection, one sweet bite at a time.
